MARKET LAMBS

• Out of state lambs must have health certificates.
• Lambs must comply with West Virginia tail-docking rules.
• No minimum weight.
• Maximum weight 130 lbs.
• Lambs must be ewes or weathers.
• Bedding will be provided
• Unethical grooming or showing practices will not be tolerated and are grounds for immediate expulsion.

STEERS & HEIFERS

• Health certificates must meet WV health requirements.
• Market steers will be shown by weight.
• Heifers will be shown by breed & age. (Must be 4 in a breed to have a class of their own, otherwise will be put in the AOB class.
• Heifers must be born after June 11, 2007.
• All registered heifers born prior to Dec. 12, 2008. Must send a photocopy of registration papers with entry.
• All bedding will be provided.
• Unethical grooming or showing practices will not be tolerated and are grounds for immediate expulsion. Juniors are encouraged to groom their own animals.
